Story:

Through a combination of cunning promises and questionable legal maneuvers, a single corporation successfully secured exclusive mining rights for Mythracite, ushering in an era of unprecedented opulence and boundless prospects on the island. The allure of this newfound wealth attracted a myriad of investors and settlers, inevitably encroaching upon the land of its indigenous inhabitants.

Initially, the islanders greeted the arrival of their new companions with open arms, relishing the opportunities for friendship and employment that arose. However, after nearly a decade, the true nature of Vex Corp’s practices was laid bare before their eyes. Seeking to minimize labor costs, the corporation enlisted state-of-the-art androids to handle security and various tasks, contributing to the degradation of the island’s once-pristine waters. Consequently, the very foundation on which the island stood began to crumble, sinking inexorably into the encroaching ocean.

The island’s inhabitants, forced to adapt to their precarious circumstances, constructed towering edifices to reside above the rising water levels. A network of catwalks spanned the disintegrating landscape, providing a means of navigation. However, the grim day arrived when Vex Corp issued a mandatory emergency evacuation, acknowledging the perilous state of Cherry Blossom Island.

Enter Toula Peterson, an indomitable individual whose lack of formal education and certifications is overshadowed by her exceptional skills as a versatile mercenary. A clandestine benefactor, whose identity remains veiled, contacted Toula, presenting an irresistible proposition that would grant her lifelong financial security. The task at hand: journey to Cherry Blossom Island and procure as many Mythracite gems as possible.

Alas, an obstacle of significant proportions awaits Toula on the forsaken island. Following the evacuation, the androids, programmed to view any human presence as trespassers, stand as an insurmountable barrier between her and the coveted Mythracite. Will she find a way to outmaneuver these relentless sentinels and claim the gemstones that hold the key to her future?
